“ Fantastic place! It's a huge restaurant which gives a different New York feel compared to all the small restaurants you traditionally see. They have a nice happy hour at the bar only. We got the montanarine app which tastes fantastic and perfectly fried, their sauce on top tastes super fresh. The burrata pizza was good, but don't expect the burrata to come on the pizza, it comes pre cute up and melted (see pic). The Margherita was unbelievably good, super fresh and delicate. The crust was soft and fluffy like Neapolitan pizza should be. Good service, food came hot and quick. ”
“ Would just like to personally thank Keste for helping me carb load for the NYC marathon. It's unclear whether the pies from Keste or my 2 lbs of Trader Joe's fusilli pasta were responsible for my burst of energy on race day, but I don't see the need to pick between two queens. I got the vegan pizza because I am a menace and don't particularly like cheese on pizza, but I'll say that the pistachio pizza that my dad ordered was incredible. My mom was less happy with her Italian sausage and mushroom pizza and tried to pilfer pieces from my dad. We ended up buying two pies (pistachio and keste) for my sister, who was in the middle of moving into her new apartment and cited the pizzas as a major godsend during a hectic time. ”
“ This was one of the best pizzas i've had in NYC in a while! Perfectly made with a thin crust. We ordered some appetizers first and the keste pizza with prosciutto. We also had cocktails and one of the best desserts - can't recall the name but it was the first one on the dessert menu ”
“ Popped in on a whim with a friend while in the area and were glad we came! Upon arrival, we found out it was happy hour (served only at the bar) so we sat down and each enjoyed a cocktail. My aperol spritz was delightful! Keste has a wide range of pizzas to choose from, so we decided to share two, though we did not finish them. We chose the pizzas off of Guy's Special Menu (Guy Fieris grocery games was playing on the TV). Both were delicious, my friend preferred the montanara but I preferred the salsiccia and pistachio... made splitting our leftovers easy! They have a delicious spicy olive oil that paired well with both. While not my favorite pizza joint in the area, the happy hour was a fun touch I didn't know about, and would likely return when in the mood for sit down vs. to go. ”
“ Nice but strange night for dining outdoors in early November. We had to get a fried pizza because why not. We decided to try the panzerotto of the day which is just regular tomato and mozarrella. Fichi avocado salad - interesting with the fig, fennel, and mild sweet flavors. Meat Lasagna - surprisingly really good and different from your regular lasagna... and the cheese is so good. Montanara Genovese pizza - the first bite was amazing, lightly cripsy, as was the flavor. The crispyness was amazing to the end but the sweet flavor of onion was too strong. Don't get me wrong, I like onions but the sweetness got a little much. It could use a little savory/acidity flavor, like tomato. I would get this again next time in a different flavor. Truffle Burrata pizza - it was fine, nothing spectacular. Panzerotto - something about the tomato sauce...has almost an wine-y taste...not like your home average tomato sauce...absolutely delicious to take a bite of crispy fried dough, tomato sauce bursting along with everlasting cheese. Pretty big for $9. May have been my favorite thing here. I can't imagine what the original panzerotto is like. ”
“ Ordered a bunch of pizzas here! There were a bunch of options, including a lot of gluten free options, which was great! My favorite pizza was probably the procuitto pizza - they put a lot of procuitto on it! The pizza was a little thicker than I normally liked, but it was still good. The restaurant was very spacious and there were lots of tables. The service was also quick, as there were not many patrons. I would recommend coming here for some nice sit down new york pizza! ”
“ One of my new fav dinner spots in FiDi! Incredible pizza, friendly service, good atmosphere. I've been here on a Thursday night & Sunday night, and on both occasions the restaurant was pretty hoppin' (cute neighborhood restaurant vibes with a steady crowd). The montanara pizza is essentially pizza made using fried dough as the base, and it was great! I'd never tried anything like it; the texture was so unique (crispy, but also almost bouncy?), and it had that extra hint of flavor. The diavola pizza is also simply delicious. I liked the cacio e pepe pizza, but I think next time I'd want to try the pistachio pesto + sausage pizza if I was going for a non-red sauce option. I've enjoyed the apps I've had here -- the potato croquettes and fried cacio e pepe (forgot the actual name) -- but the pizza is definitely the star of the show for me. And, you can't leave without some tiramisu! I used to not really like tiramisu, but this place changed it for me. It's so creamy, whipped, light. I've also heard they have amazing gelato made in house ... will have to add that to the list for next time! ”
